i love this place
it has a bar, a jukebox and pool tables; the best chinese restaurant ever. the food is the best too, i literally went to every chinese place in south windsor, manchester, east windsor and east hartford, and this place has the best food.

my family orders there every week, and we love it. it does have some times when it takes longer than usual to get our food, but most likely is because we order during their busy hours, but no matter what, the food is worth the wait. my family does dine there sometimes and it is great. they got pool tables, a bar and a jukebox. there is only one thing about it and it is that only one of the people there speaks fluent english; his name is jimmy, but he only works weekends, but ask for him when you need help with ordering.

Anonymously Disappointed.
Food was absolutely terrible!! It tasted as if it was microwaved and was soggy (chicken fingers, rangoons, and rice). Originally told it would take 30 minutes to be delivered. At 1 hour I called and they said they "just left" he showed up 20 minutes later.... a total time of one hour and twenty minutes! Driver showed up saying he had no change and would have to leave and go to the convenience store down the street so that he could break the $20.00. Terrible food! Terrible service!

fyi the crab rangoon is just terrible... but the general tso's is amazing... which is all that really matters right?
side note: make sure you order the general without rice because the rice is nothing special and you get way more chicken.

I live in South Windsor and I am glad we have a choice of chinese food here.. I do like Hong Kong House.. The food is always hot and prepared just right the way you order it.. I highly recomend it. It is the best in South Windsor!

My family has lived in South Windsor for 12 years and this is the best chinese food around. We appreciate their continued good service and accuracy with our orders. We occassionally dine in the restaurant and are amazed more people do not go here. Give it a try, you will like it too.
