| Possibly the best restaurant in Hartford in the last couple of decades. Pastis served the freshest and tastiest food in a beautiful setting. I cooked there for approximately a year and learned some great French techniques. A truly classy place that is missed. | ||

| This was one of favorite spots in Hartford. Alas, Pastis closed several years ago. The manager and chef opened and excellent place in Ellington, La Trattoria de Lepri. A little out of the way for some of us, but well worth the trip. | ||
