Best Grinder Period
I have been going to FGG for as long as I can remember. At least 40 years and the amazing thing is that there has been no compromise in quality or quantity for that entire period. Simply put it is the best Grinder on the planet.

No one else knows what Grinder means
When I tell people in NYC that this place Franklin Giant Grinder in Hartford makes the best Chicken Cutlet Sandwich you can get they ask me, "Whats a Grinder". Needless to say Franklin gives you the best/most food in the tr-state area, one GRINDER, easily lasts 2 lunches.

Chicken
I was there Wednesday for lunch. I had the chicken cutlet and it was great as usual. I live in the western hills and still make it there once a month. I have been going there for almost 40 years. ECB

The Best
I live 30 minutes from Hartford. Whenever I get the chance, I go to Franklin giant grinder. They by far have the best grinders. In fact, I will be in the area today and stopping by for chicken cutlet and meatball grinders.

The chicken cutlet grinder is amazing, even if it does require 2 hours on the treadmill to offset the calorie content. Worth it!

COOKED SALAMI GRINDER
Our sopecial treat is to get a Cooked Salami Grinder with extra Lettuce and Onions along with Tomatoes, Peppers and Provalone Cheese with light oil... Yummmmy !! Their Cooked Salami is the best and they pile it high... There is no better Grinder in the State....

Chicken Cutlets
If you ever had a chicken cutlet and it wasn't from Franklin Giant Grinder, then you really haven't had a chicken cutlet. It is the best and I use to live in Milwaukee where they make chicken subs but they don't compare to the chicken cutlet at Franklin Giant Grinder. Best I ever had.

A Hartford staple! The best grinder on the East coast. Philly has their cheesesteaks we have Franklin Giant. A whole grinder is enough for three people! I've had sandwiches all over the country and whether submarine, hoagie or cheesesteak, Hartford has the best!

Great Italian Food
My husband and I love Franklin Giant Grinder's food.
Their marinara sauce is wonderful. Their chicken cutlet grinders are to die for and their ravioli is wonderful as well. I wish they had a location in Vernon, CT

My dad has been taking me to franklin avenue for italian cookies and giant grinders since i was little. I cant imagine driving down the street and not stopping here! huge sandwiches with tons of mean, lettuce, peppers and oil. Sooooo good.
